Important Information for College of Law Customers

The health and wellbeing of our staff and customers are our priority. Accordingly, given the evolving COVID-19 situation, we will not be holding face-to-face events or programs until further notice. Please scroll down to check details for your program as well as contact details for enquiries.

Please note all other online programs are continuing as normal.

COLLEGE CAMPUSES – CLOSURE

The College will be operating on a work-from-home basis with effect from close of business Monday 23 March 2020. This means our Sydney City, St Leonards, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth campuses will be closed.

PRACTICAL LEGAL TRAINING

The Practical Legal Training program will be delivered entirely online for programs commencing from 23 March 2020 onwards. Students will receive an email outlining the new arrangements on a progressive basis.

For current PLT students there is no change to your program.

PRACTITIONER EDUCATION PROGRAMS

Short CPD programs

Most short face-to-face programs have been cancelled or postponed. Where programs can be delivered online, registrants will have been emailed.

Legal Practice Management Courses

We are in discussion with regulators and accrediting authorities to determine if we can deliver the face-to-face component online. We will advise you via email of the outcome as soon as possible.


National Accredited Mediation Program

Unfortunately we have had to cancel all face to face Mediation programs until further notice. However, we will be delivering this program and the associated assessment online. Please check your email for advice regarding your enrolment.


Migration Agents Capstone Assessment (OMARA)
The oral assessment scheduled for 27 April to 1 May will not be running. All oral assessments will now occur 22 June and 3 July 2020. However we will confirm these dates closer to the time. Please check your email for information.

Postgraduate Specialisation Programs

The Master of Laws and Master of Applied Law (Family Law) programs are unaffected.

Students enrolled in FDR2 Children’s Matters, Family Law and Family Dispute Resolution will be advised as soon as possible regarding new arrangements for the workshops in April.
 
Students enrolled in other intensive programs will be advised as soon as alternative plans have been put into place.
