The three Cs of Ethics | Melbourne

Published on 21 November 2018

Lunch & Learn Seminar - The Three Cs of Ethics

Hear the challenge that arise when clients are untruthful with you; the limits of client confidentiality.

Learn how to avoid former client and concurrent client conflicts of interest; what to do if you become a material witness in your client's case; and some of the ethical problems that can arise for solicitors and their clients in the age of social media.

Duty to the Court
All solicitors, by virtue of their admission to legal practice, are officers of the court. The paramount duty they owe to the court trumps all other ethical duties.
