You can enrol in five quick steps:

  4. Fees and FEE-HELP

Please note, for existing students to enrol in their next subject, you are required to log into the customer portal to complete your re-enrolment.

CHOOSE YOUR FIRST SUBJECT

Most students enrol in one subject per intake. Two subjects may require up to 25 hours of study per week.

Most students enrol in one subject per intake. Two subjects may require up to 25 hours of study per week.

2. Check you meet the prerequisites

You must hold a recognised law degree such as:

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
  • Juris Doctor (JD)
  • Equivalent qualification

Some programs have different entry requirements. Check prerequisites for Family Dispute Resolution and Legal Business Management programs in the tabs above.

3. Complete the online enrolment form

Upload your documents and confirm payment or FEE-HELP details.

4. Submit your enrolment

You can submit your enrolment online. Once submitted, our team will review your application and confirm your enrolment.

FAMILY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PRACTICE

Enrolling in the Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution Practice

Follow the standard enrolment steps. You must also follow the requirements below to enrol in the Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution Practice.

Program format

Subjects run as six-week intensives rather than standard 12-week subjects.

Entry requirements

You must have one of the following:

  • A degree in psychology, social work, law, conflict management, dispute resolution, family law mediation or a related discipline
  • Accreditation under the Australian Mediator and Dispute Resolution Accreditation Standards (AMDRAS) or NMAS
  • Mediation skill set from the Community Services Training Package (CHC)

Important

From 1 April 2025, applicants entering via NMAS or AMDRAS accreditation must have held accreditation for two consecutive years when applying for Commonwealth Attorney-General’s Department accreditation after completing the course.

LEGAL BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

Entry requirements

The Legal Business Management programs are open to professionals working in the legal services sector.

You may apply with:

  1. An undergraduate law degree, or
  2. Any undergraduate degree plus one year of relevant work experience, or
  3. Five years of relevant experience in the legal services sector

Applications are assessed individually.

You will need to submit:

  • A personal statement
  • Evidence of work experience
  • Supporting documentation of relevant qualifications or training

English language requirements

Applicants from non-English speaking countries who did not complete their degree at an English-speaking university must provide an IELTS result:

  • Writing 8
  • Listening 7
  • Speaking 7.5
  • Reading 7
  • Overall 7.5

BEFORE YOU START

Gathering the required academic documents, identification and payment details will help you save time and complete your postgraduate enrolment form smoothly.

  • Academic transcript, graduation certificate, admission certificate or practising certificate
  • Certified proof of name change (if applicable)
  • Postgraduate qualifications if applying for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

FEE-HELP

Eligible Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens and permanent humanitarian visa holders may defer payment through FEE-HELP.

You can pay subject by subject, allowing you to start with a Graduate Certificate and progress to a Graduate Diploma or Master of Laws.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Online enrolment can usually be completed in one sitting once you have selected your subject and gathered your required documents.

Once your enrolment is submitted and your documentation is verified, you will receive email confirmation of your enrolment and information about preparing for your first subject.

Yes. Each intake has a published start date. New students should complete their enrolment no later than Week 1 of the intake date. After the census date, financial and academic penalties may apply.

We recommend enrolling as early as possible once you have chosen your subject and confirmed you meet the entry requirements. This allows time to prepare for study and ensures your place in the upcoming intake.

You can do any of the following without financial penalty any time before the published census date for each intake:

  • Withdraw completely
  • Change the subject or course you are enrolled in
  • Defer it to a subsequent intake (must be within the next 12 months)

We recommend that you set aside 10-12 hours a week on study per subject, 1 unit per semester. Completing two subjects in the same intake may require up to 25 hours of study and readings each week.

Yes. Our postgraduate programs are delivered online, allowing you to balance study with professional and personal commitments.

For 2026, each subject in our postgraduate programmes costs $4,150 with no GST applicable.

Please note that our fees are subject to annual review and may change during your enrolment. Full payment is required at the time of enrolment each semester, and we accept various payment methods including Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and credit card.

Additionally, if you are an Australian citizen, a New Zealand citizen, or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, you may be eligible to defer your payment through the Commonwealth Government's FEE-HELP scheme.
