How you will learn
You will be given access to the College Learning Portal from the course start date where you will access materials which will assist you to complete the course and assessments. These online materials include:
- Preliminary readings
- Self-assessment to assess your current legal practice management skills and capabilities
You can access your materials at anytime, anywhere and on any device.
The three-day face-to-face workshop is usually held over Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The workshop is not only an opportunity for you to engage in practical exercises and tutorials with legal industry experts, it is also a great change to mix and connect with other legal professionals.
We want you to finish the course with the knowledge and skills to be a components and successful practice manager.
You will undertake three assessments throughout the course either during your three-day workshop or online after the workshops concludes.
Successfully completing each assessment will provide you with the confidence that you have developed the expertise to excel at the practice of law.

Our presenters are all experience practitioners who we select using a number of criteria:
- Up-to-date with industry trends
- Experience with establishing their own legal practices
- Knowledge of strategic management and business solutions gained in leadership roles in law and accounting firms

This course meets the requirements of the Queensland Law Society for obtaining a Principal Practising Certificate and is fully accredited by the Law Society.
