Amit is an Australian and US qualified lawyer in the M&A and Capital Markets group at Allens where he advises companies on domestic and cross-border transactions including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, restructures, spin-offs, strategic alliances and joint ventures. Amit has significant experience advising global commodities companies and financial institutions in the agribusiness and related industries on a wide range of sector-specific matters such as foreign investment, projects, infrastructure and access regulation, and commodity trading and financing.  Amit is also a core member of Allens Accelerate, Allens' emerging companies practice, and advises start-ups and investors on a variety of corporate transactions, including venture capital financings and public offerings.  Amit is a co-author of Allens' agribusiness survey, A greater yield: Attracting investment into Australian agribusiness. He is also a co-author of the LexisNexis service, Australian Corporation Practice.
