Have you ever found yourself wondering what makes someone successful in their professional career? First, wellbeing and resilience are vital to developing efficient problem-solving skills, building and maintaining interpersonal relationships and realistic goal setting, all of which greatly enhance an individual’s ability to perform and contribute meaningfully in daily life.

Further to that, wellbeing and resilience are important in preventing the onset of mental health problems as well as potentially lessening the severity of existing mental health problems.

This course is divided into 4 modules where you will explore:

  • Wellbeing in context
  • Resilience
  • Mental health
  • Strategies for wellbeing

At the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Gain insight into what “wellbeing” and “resilience” mean
  • Reflect on your personal wellbeing and the barriers to wellbeing
  • Improve your resilience skills
  • Gain insight into mental health and the effects of stress; and
  • Practise strategies to manage stress and maintain wellbeing

This text based interactive course has been prepared by Florence Thum, a psychotherapist and executive coach with extensive experience in the legal profession.

At the end of this on-demand course, you may claim 4 CPD points. Please consult the CPD rules for your State/Territory to ascertain how many CPD points you can claim for private study of audio/visual material during the CPD year.

Due to new reporting requirements introduced by the Legal Practice Board of Western Australia on 1 April 2021, practitioners holding WA practising certificates are not currently eligible to claim CPD points for this product.
