In the past, this was often referred to as "the contractor's all risk cover" or "CAR".  This webinar will also deal with difference in conditions (DIC), indemnities, caps on liability, naming other parties on your policy, alliances, joint ventures, multiple insureds, waiver of subrogation, advance loss of profit cover, project specific cover, liability insurance, professional indemnity insurance, managing risk and novation.

Greg Skehan

Greg Skehan began his professional career as a construction lawyer. Subsequently he moved into the insurance area with a diverse practice across all areas of insurance.  This includes construction risk, professional indemnity, directors & officers’ liability, accident, health, products, property and reinsurance.  He is extremely experienced in all forms of commercial negotiation, litigation and alternative dispute resolution.

Under Greg's leadership the Insurance Group of CBP Lawyers in Sydney was awarded the ALB Mettle Insurance Specialist Law Firm of the Year Award for 2008. Further, with Greg as senior partner, CBP Lawyers advise many of Australia's largest corporations and government departments in all matters involving property development, construction, infrastructure and the insurance requirements.

Greg returned to Sydney in October 2009, having spent the prior 18 months running the firm's associated offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Since returning from the UAE, Greg's time has been spent advising a variety of clients on risk management, corporate governance, due diligence and a variety of commercial dealings. He is on the board of a number of corporations and a board adviser to others.

In 2013 and 2014 Greg was listed in Best Lawyers for insurance. He was also listed in Chambers and Partners.
