Chris Moore named as new Chairman for the College of Law New Zealand Board

The College of Law New Zealand has named Chris Moore as Chairman of the College of Law New Zealand Board. This follows the recent passing of long standing, dedicated Chairman, Ian Haynes ONZM. Ian had been Chairman for almost 20 years and was critical to the success of the College.

Chris Moore is a former President of New Zealand Law Society and highly respected practitioner, who was appointed to the College of Law New Zealand Board in 2021. Chris’ experience and skill set will be invaluable as he drives the College of Law New Zealand into the future.

The College Of Law acknowledges and appreciates the contribution that Ian Haynes made to the college over two decades of service. Chris has said that he is honoured to take on the role of Board Chair for The College of Law New Zealand. Chris also recognises the dedication and service of his predecessor Ian Haynes. He looks forward to continuing Ian’s legacy.
