The College of Law Western Australia CEO/Executive Director, Michael Cole, is retiring after 13 years of sustained outstanding leadership.
During Michael’s tenure, he played a critical role in establishing the College’s Western Australian programs and operations as its founding Director/CEO.
Michael has also contributed greatly to the success of the College’s Practical Legal Training (PLT) programs, establishing the College as a primary provider for WA law graduates. Michael spearheaded the establishment of the incredibly successful Legal Practice Management Course for WA lawyers, which has reached capacity for every offering since 2017.
He developed Professional Development (CPD) Programs specifically for WA lawyers with great response, engaged our alumni community and continuously worked with the WA legal profession to ensure our products and services addressed their needs.
“Michael has been a valued leader for the College both in Western Australia and nationally,” said Neville Carter, Group CEO of The College of Law. “From the founding of our WA office in 2006, Michael has been the leader, driver, chief communicator, teacher and thinker, creative director and strategist. We wish Michael all the best and appreciate his 13 years of dedicated service to the College.”
