The College of Law’s Skills workshops provide you with hands-on practice and feedback to deepen your skills in a specific area of practice. Each workshop has defined learning objectives, which your workshop facilitator will ensure you leave with, as well as a sharpened skill to bring back to your practice.

The workshops are delivered face-to-face or virtually. Practitioners engaged as workshop leaders will provide individualised feedback on your work, which you can immediately apply to your practice.
Complex issues are broken down to be easily understood and worked through in these activities, which may include:
- drafting exercises,
- process checklists,
- case studies and
- information sharing.
New Lawyer Discount
The College of Law is offering new lawyers (less than three years in practice) the opportunity to upskill and add value to their practice by attending selected Skills workshops at a discounted rate. The New Lawyer Program comprises of selected courses that have been identified as ideal for lawyers starting out in the industry and looking to build a strong foundation in their chosen area of practice.
