Toby Blyth will deal with the policy of insurance known generally as a “construction risk cover". This webinar will also deal with difference in conditions (DIC), indemnities, caps on liability, naming other parties on your policy, alliances, joint ventures, multiple insureds, waiver of subrogation, advance loss of profit cover, project specific cover, liability insurance, professional indemnity insurance, managing risk and novation.

Toby is a special counsel in the insurance team at Colin Biggers & Paisley. Toby assists clients to manage crises and disputes in construction and insurance, including:
Insurance aspects of Australian and overseas construction and infrastructure projects, including gas pipelines, electrical transmission cables, dams and tunnels, airports, quarries, highways/pavements and traffic management systems, milling and mining process and support facilities, rail and rolling stock maintenance, commercial building projects, wind farms, port facilities and wharves, distribution and manufacturing facilities, office buildings, ground contamination, heavy plant and machinery.
Construction risk insurance - professional indemnity, contract works and contractors' all risks policies, DSU/ALOP insurance, business interruption, difference in conditions, umbrella and drop-down policies, excess of loss policies. 
Coverage advice and defence - professional indemnity, directors and officers, Banker's Blanket Bond and PI, trade credit, warranty and indemnity and reinsurance. 
Toby is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, and is admitted to the Supreme Courts of New South Wales and England and Wales, and the Federal and High Courts of Australia.
