JEFFREY GOLDBERGER
Special Counsel, Henry Davis York

Jeffrey joined Henry Davis York from Ashurst and has over 25 years' experience in the Australian legal sector, having formerly lectured in contract law and private international law at the University of Sydney Law School.
He is a recognised authority on Australian contract law, having, for example, served in 2012 on the then Federal Attorney General's expert panel on the reform of Australian contract law.
Jeffrey has worked with clients across many industry sectors. He is well known to, and highly regarded by, major government, finance, resources and corporate clients. Jeffrey's ability to articulate the application of contract law in a practical and commercial way is widely known and highly regarded nationally.
Jeffrey has extensive experience and expertise in the negotiation and resolution of complex contractual issues. 

MICHAEL KLOOSTER
Barrister, 8th Floor Garfield Barwick Chambers

Michael was admitted as a solicitor in 2005, having completed a Bachelor of Laws with honours from the University of Technology Sydney.
From 2005 to 2007, he worked as an employed solicitor.  He obtained a Masters in Environmental Law from the University of Sydney in 2007.
Michael then worked in commercial law and litigation at Somerville & Co and Bartier Perry.
Michael was admitted as a barrister in 2010 where he has primarily undertaken general commercial litigation.  Such work has involved a mix of mediation, arbitration, CTTT, Local, District and Supreme Court advocacy.

DANIEL TYNAN
Barrister, 12th Floor Chambers

Daniel is a barrister practising from 12th Floor Chambers. He represents corporate, government and individual clients in all jurisdictions in commercial matters. He has a particular specialisation in competition and consumer law matters. He has appeared in a number of recent high profile unconscionable conduct cases in the Federal Court and has advises the ACCC, ASIC and private clients on unfair contract terms. He has lectured in evidence law at the University of Sydney and UTS since 2010 and is an editor of Competition and Consumer Law News. He is a Legal Officer in the Royal Australian Navy. 

DR ELISABETH PEDEN
Barrister, 12th Floor Chambers

Elisabeth is a barrister and nationally accredited mediator practising from 12th Floor Chambers. She represents corporate, government and individual clients in all jurisdictions and acts as an expert witness in overseas jurisdictions. She is a Professor at the University of Sydney and publishes widely in contract, commercial law and evidence law.  She is an editor of the Commercial Law Quarterly, on the editorial board of the Journal of Contract Law, and an assistant editor of the NSWLR.
