Continuing Professional Education Component
This Component introduces you to Continuing Professional Education and the concept of ongoing professional and career development, it consists of two parts:
1. Workbook
You are required to complete this Workbook either during your Work Experience Component or within 20 weeks of its completion. The content is divided into:
- Professional Skills in Practice
- Work Management and Business Skills
- Commitment to Professional Values
The Workbook is designed to encourage you to learn from your work experience and to apply what you learn in your future career.
2. Continuing Professional Education Seminars
You are required to undertake seminars totalling 10 units of Continuing Professional Education.
The seminars are available online and developed by the College's Continuing Professional Education Department or, for co-operative students through inhouse training. Seminars may be undertaken during your Coursework Component or within 12 months of its completion.
