Enrolment Prerequisites and Procedures
The following prerequisites apply to all applicants.
Qualification in Law
By the first day of the coursework component for which an applicant has applied, the applicant must:
- be a graduate in law, or
- have qualified for admission as a graduate in law, or
- have undertaken all requirements (other than practical training) prescribed for admission as a legal practitioner in the corresponding jurisiction.
Subject to the approval of the relevant admission authority, you may be eligible to apply if you are a:
- graduate in law from a non-Australian law school, or
- legal Practitioner admitted in a foreign jurisdiction
Applications will be accepted in advance of results or evidence of your law degree. You must undertake in writing to provide this evidence as soon as it becomes available. For further information please contact the Enrolments office at the details below.
Enrolment as an Undergraduate
In limited circumstances, the College may consider accepting you into the Professional Program if you have further work to undertake by way of examination, assignment, submission of research paper or otherwise, in order to complete a law qualification.
To gain this permission, please submit a written explanation detailing the outstanding work with your application form.
Please note: This option is not available to Victorian students who must have completed all examinations and assessments in order to receive a law qualification.

To enrol in the Professional Program, please send:
- completed Application form
- certified copies of relevant qualifications
- one passport sized photographs with your name printed on the back
