Continuing Legal Training Seminars (Seminars), together with the Workbook, comprise the Continuing Professional Education Component of the Professional Program.

Aim of Seminars
The aim of Seminars is to introduce you to:
- the fundamental concept of continuing education as integral to professional development
- a range of topics and seminars available to the practising profession as part of their continuing legal education, including certain compulsory topics
- different forms of continuing legal education available to the practising profession.
This introduction should provide you with the knowledge and skills in the areas you undertake as a foundation for your future continuing legal education experiences.
Seminars Requirements
You are required to undertake seminars totalling 10 units (equivalent to 10 hours) of Continuing Professional Education as part of the requirements of the Professional Program. The seminars are offered online by the College's Continuing Professional Education Department.
Seminars may be undertaken during your Coursework Component or within 12 months of its completion.
Continuing Legal Training Seminars online comprises 10 units (10 seminars, the equivalent of 10 hours) on current practice topics. You should select a minimum of 10 seminars from the list of online seminars
You should complete the seminars online to benefit from any interactive features linked to the seminars, however, it is possible to complete the Professional Program requirements by printing out and reading the seminars.
Please note that a printed seminar paper would not entitle a legal practitioner to claim any credit toward his/her mandatory continuing legal education requirement in practice.
Accessing the Online Seminars
Access is available through the Professional Program Online for students who have enrolled in the Coursework Component. Information and passwords will be available in your Course Materials.
