Legal Ethics Bridging Course

Any student seeking to be admitted as a legal practitioner in NSW after 31 December 1999 is required to have completed as part of their law degree a course in Legal Ethics approved by the Legal Profession Admission Board (LPAB). The College has, until, recently, provided a “bridging course ” to assist students who have not completed ethics as part of their undergraduate degree. However, this course is no longer accredited by the NSW LPAB , as of 31 December 2008.

As such, if you need to complete an ethics program in order to be admitted , visit the LPAB website for a list of approved programs and institutions in NSW:
