About CPE
For over 25 years, an essential part of the College's work has been in the area of continuing professional education. This operation has sprung from a partnership between the College and the profession. Our courses and resources are mostly the work of practising lawyers - with our own staff adding a range of legal, educational and administrative skills to the partnership.
The College of Law has long been a key provider in continuing professional education. For more than 25 years the CLE unit has provided a unique annual program of seminars offered throughout NSW and online nationally.
The CLE service now embraces:
- a unique annual program of seminars offered in the Sydney CBD, in the suburbs, and at regional centres throughout NSW; and on-line
- a wide range of reference material, in the form of seminar papers
Many of our contributors also present their material for other organisations, who charge much higher prices of their audiences. But our emphasis on service rather than profit enables us to offer a similar product at a vastly more acceptable price.
Our aim is to offer intellectual and practical education to all members of the profession, at prices intended only to cover costs and maintain quality.
