What advice do you have for students completing their PLSCO? Rather than treating the professionals course as a burden or obstacle, have an attitude where you want to get something out of it. Whichever area of law you intend to go into, certain parts of the course will be directly relevant to your work.
For the other parts that may not seem as relevant, it is important to remember that the general skills that you are learning/honing can apply right across the board, and it definitely doesn't hurt to have a general understanding of how the different areas of law work in practice.

Why did you choose to study and practice law? Career change (previously worked as an accountant in London and Sydney).
What interests you most about practising law? The fact that law underpins everything that is done in society, that law is continually evolving and legal practice offers plenty of variety, challenge and problem-solving.
