+Note:If you take part in this course, you can claim up to 6 MCLE units for each day of participation, as well as complying with your Rule 42 Mandatory MCLE requirements (depending on the modules you attend). And, if you have already met your 10 units of MCLE for the 2011/12 year, under the "carry over" rule, any extra MCLE units completed in the January to March 2012 period can now be carried forward into 2012/13 MCLE year. The course is specifically adapted for in-house lawyers and includes materials from the College of Law's Master of Applied Law (In-House Legal Practice) Program, and presenters with experience as in-house counsel. 

With a strong emphasis on legal and organisational strategy, understanding the in-house team’s value proposition and delivering effective results, this course also covers the role of in-house lawyers in ethical culture and governance systems, stakeholder relationships, risk assessment and management and the core regulatory curriculum.
