Moving Across Australian and NZ Borders
The College of Law offers approved practical legal training through our Practical Legal Training Programs for admission in Australia in the following jurisdictions:
- ACT
- New South Wales
- Northern Territory
- Queensland
- Victoria
- Western Australia
- Tasmania
For admission in South Australia, the process is by application for admission via Mutual Recognition following admission in one of the above jurisdictions.
For practical legal training in New Zealand, the Professional Legal Studies Course offers admission across New Zealand. If you wish to seek admission in Australia, there is also a Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Scheme available. We recommend that you contact the admission authority in your intended jurisdiction for further details. Please note that New Zealand citizens undertaking the College's Practical Legal Training Program pay the local fee and not the International Student fee.
