National Employment Standards Explained

This seminar looks at the National Employment Standards (NES) which commenced operation from 1 January 2010.

Steven Penning is a Partner of Turner Freeman Lawyers. He is an accredited specialist in employment and industrial law.

He has worked as an industrial relations practitioner, and employment and industrial relations lawyer for over 20 years.

Steven has an extensive employment law litigation and advice practice in the District Court, Federal Court and Federal Magistrate’s Court, as well as in the Industrial Commissions and Tribunals.

He has served as a member of the Employment and Industrial law Committee of the NSW Law Society, and a member of the NSW Executive of Australian Lawyers Alliance.

He regularly presents at seminars, including for the College of Law, Television Education Network, CLE Centre Pty Limited and the Commercial Law Association.
