Lionel Rattenbury has extensive experience as an advocate in the Local and District Courts. As a Prosecutor for 10 years, he presented in excess of 5,000 defended hearings and prosecuted extremely complex and protracted hearings against the elite Senior Counsel of the Sydney Bar.
Following his admission as a Solicitor in 1999, Lionel worked as a solicitor in private practice at Macedone Christie Willis Lawyers, conducting various types of criminal and civil Litigation. During this time, he lectured students in criminal law and evidence at college level.
Lionel is currently a Partner of Armstrong Legal located in York St, Sydney and heads up a team of four full time criminal lawyers.
In 2001, Lionel successfully obtained specialist accreditation in Criminal Law.
He is co author of Butterworths Local Court Criminal Practice.
