Graduate Diploma of In-house Legal Practice

The In-house Legal Practice Program is a practical problem-based program.

The course has been designed by the College in consultation with Australian Corporate Lawyers Association (ACLA) and is delivered online, with occasional face-to-face or real-time activities. The course is accredited in all states and territories.

The Program is most suited for lawyers with a minimum of four years practising experience and has been developed for:

• corporate and government lawyers who want to expand their skills and knowledge
• lawyers in private practice looking to move an in-house role
• lawyers in private practice wanting t better understand their corporate
  or government clients

Introduction to In-house Legal Practice

The College of Law has offered the Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice for over 30 years and has drawn on this practical education experience and online expertise to develop, in conjunction with the Australian Corporate Lawyers Association (ACLA), this unique program for in-house lawyers.

The Graduate Diploma of In-House Legal Practice is a practical-based course designed with realistic tasks and scenarios to help you develop the skills that will add to your organisation or help you transition to an in-house role. The Program facilitates flexibility and easy access with online delivery, supported by regular communication with lecturers.
