Applied Law Program (Family Law)
This Program will assist you to become a more effective family law practitioner or to help you make the switch from another area of practice to family law.
Students who qualify for a Master of Applied Law (Family Law) degree complete a total of seven subjects. Students can choose to exit the degree at an earlier stage and may be awarded a Graduate Diploma of Applied Law (Family Law) or a Graduate Certificate in Applied Law (Family Law).
Introduction to Family Law
The Applied Law (Family Law) Program focuses on developing technical and practical proficiency through innovative problem-based learning. The program is designed on the basis of learning by doing — the application of legal skills to realistic tasks and scenarios that practitioners encounter in practice. The Program facilitates flexibility and easy access with online delivery, supported by regular communication with lecturers and mentoring by practitioners from the relevant areas of legal practice.
