The College of Law Victoria Honours its Top Academic Achievers
On 3 December at Melbourne Town Hall, students from The College of Law Victoria graduated in a formal academic ceremony at The College's annual spring graduation.
Bill O'Shea, Chair of The College of Law Victoria, opened the ceremony and graduates received their Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the Honourable Chief Justice Diana Bryant, Family Court of Australia.
In a first for the College, two graduates were awarded the 2008 Law Institute of Victoria's Prize for Overall Excellence - Timothy Dobney, Corrs Chambers Westgarth, and Jonathan Korman, Owen Dixon Chambers East. The 2008 Lawyers Weekly Prize for Professional Responsibility was presented to Andrea Castle from the Defence Materiel Organisation.
