Practical Experience
Former Professor and Dean at the Victoria University of Wellington Law School.  As Dean, was an ex officio council member of the New Zealand Council of Legal Education.  Lectured and tutored law at the Universities of Canterbury and Auckland, and at universities in Australia and South Africa.  Former Professor of Management in the Australian Graduate School of Management and Head of the School of Business and Economics at the Johannesburg campus of Monash University.

Distinguished career as an industrial relations lawyer and served as a Government appointee on a number of Government agencies.

Currently a Teaching Fellow in the Faculty of Law at Victoria University of Wellington; Visiting Professor in Law at the University of Johannesburg; and an instructor in the College of Law New Zealand's Professional Legal Studies Course.

Recognised by the Queen in 2008, as an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit, for services to education.
