Practical Experience
Madeleine completed her law degree with Honours at the University of Melbourne before being admitted to the Victorian Supreme Court and enrolled at the Australian High Court and Federal Court in 1997.  She practised as a solicitor in Melbourne and London with an emphasis on litigation.  Madeleine completed a Graduate Diploma in Education at Monash University and subsequently worked as a lecturer and tutor at Deakin University.  She has recently co-authored a legal textbook published by Thomson Reuters entitled “Law Essentials: Foundations in Australian Law”.  Madeleine joined the College in July 2011.
