Practical Experience
Admitted to practice in ACT (1979), New South Wales (1980) and Queensland (1989). Extensive experience as a solicitor at Legal Aid in Canberra and Queensland, with additional experience in private practice and with the Commonwealth Attorney-General's Department. Accredited Trainer for the National Child Representative training program. Recently appointed part-time Member of the Guardianship and Administration Tribunal. For the last 10 years has been the Manager of the Legal Aid Queensland Legal Practice, responsible for all areas of criminal law, family law and civil justice. Current Chair of the Queensland Law Society Children's Section.
