Over 30 years as a legal practitioner. Admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 1979. Nine years practice with Australian Legal Aid Office and Legal Aid Commission (NSW). Lecturer, The College of Law 1988-1998. Member of Faculty Board of Law, UTS 1993-1996. Member, Criminal Law Committee, Law Society of New South Wales 1996-1998. Private practice 1998-2002 (focusing on criminal law, family law, civil and commercial litigation). Lecturer, The College of Law since 2002. Member of NSW Specialist Accreditation Criminal Law Advisory Committee. Reviewer of College of Law Practice Papers on Advocacy, Criminal Practice and Affidavits.
